Gluten Free & Dairy Free Zaatar Pie (Man'oushe)

Here is what you need:

Zaatar spice mix (Can be found in Lebanese stores)

Vegetable oil

Mission tortillas (GF)

Olives (green or black)

Tomatoes

Arugula or fresh mint

Cucumbers


Directions:

1- Add some zaatar spice mix in to a small bowl and add a little bit of oil. The mixture should not be too thick or too runny (should be in between).

2- Add some of the mixture on to your tortilla evenly and place on a heated pan flat (do not fold it)

3- Keep the temperature low and cook for about 3-5 mins

4- I take it out when the back of it is golden brown (keep an eye on it since sometimes it can cook fast and will burn)

4-Fold the tortilla and place it on a plate

5- Get your toppings: I used arugula, green olives and tomatoes. Cucumbers and mint work really well with it also (I ran out of them)

6- Add a little bit of your toppings inside of it (not too much since they can fall out).
